Most DIAA State Divisions hold annual conferences on subjects of interest to the post-farmgate dairy industry. Many are held in conjunction with other industry bodies and/or farming organisations.
The broad conference topic is inspired by the DIAA President's Theme for the year. Conference coverage appears in Australian Dairy Foods magazine.

NEW SOUTH WALES
21 June 2012, Sydney
The annual DIAA New South Wales Division Conference will take place on 21 June 2012 at the Park Royal Hotel in Parramatta, Sydney. The winners of the 2012 DIAA New South Wales Dairy Product Competition will be presented at the conference dinner.

The 2011 DIAA Victorian Division Conference took place in Melbourne on 12 May, with a welcome reception on 11 May and a lunch honouring the winners of the 2011 DIAA Victorian Dairy Product Competition on 12 May.

10 June, Launceston
The 2011 DIAA Tasmanian Conference and Dinner were held at the Launceston Country Club on Friday, 10 June 2011, with a welcome function on Thursday evening. The much anticipated conference fancy dress dinner was held on 10 June. To celebrate the DIAA's 25th birthday, its theme was 'Back to the 80s'.
QUEENSLAND
16 June, Brisbane
The 2011 DIAA Queensland Division Conference was held on 16 June at Rydges Southbank in Brisbane, hosted jointly with the QDO/Dairy Australia's 'Situation and Outlook'. Winners of the 2011 DIAA Queensland Dairy Product Competition were announced at lunch and the conference was followed by a networking evening function. The annual golf day was held on Wednesday, 15 June at the Nudgee Golf Club.

The 2011 DIAA NSW Division Conference was held on 13 July at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour. There was a welcome reception in the evening of 12 July, and the results of the 2011 DIAA NSW Dairy Product Competition were announced at a gala awards dinner on 13 July.
